Its matrix colors can be white, whitish-gray, or clear. Denditric means branched in the form of a tree or fern.
Agates have been used as amulets as far back as Babylon. They have a slower vibration that is very soothing, grounding and protective. It was associated with the ancient Greek dryads, woodland and tree spirits, and was buried in the fields at the time of sowing to insure a good harvest.
